MELTEX geothermal pipes are made of a corrosion-free polyethylene (PE) material, which is highly resistant to wear and impact. The MELTEX geothermal pipe is non-toxic, easy to weld, and lightweight and flexible in structure. The geothermal pipe has thinner walls than water pipes, allowing it to capture heat from the ground more efficiently. The pipe can also be submerged, for example at the bottom of a lake, as a collection circuit.
A system made of PE pipes is long-lasting, cost-effective, and maintenance-free.
Geothermal pipes are manufactured according to Finnish standards, and their pressure class is PN8. Roll sizes are available from 100m to 500m depending on the pipe diameter. We also supply large coils upon request.
