Gotika Eternit Roofing Panel 920x585mm
The high profile of the Gotika fiber cement wave panel makes it strong and durable. Five-wave fiber cement panels can withstand a minimum load of 3500 N/m before breaking, which means that the panels are just as strong as a tiled roof, but offer significantly more usage options.
- The asbestos-free Gotika wave panel (P75 profile) is the smallest wave panel, whose size and high profile create the impression of a tiled roof.
- The manufacturer's warranty for the material is 10 years, covering all product quality manufacturing and material defects, possible labor costs included.
- The corners of the Gotika wave panels are factory cut and pre-drilled for fastening holes.
- The Lithuanian fiber cement panels come with a 5-year color warranty.
- The manufacturing process employs CurtCoat® painting technology, meaning the panels have a hardened color.
- Safety Strips® technology provides the fiber cement panel with good mechanical strength and break resistance.
Why the fiber cement roof panel Cedral Gotika is a sensible choice?
Asbestos-free and modern Eternit fiber cement roof panel is environmentally friendly, extremely durable, and long-lasting roofing material. The Lithuanian fiber cement wave panel traditionally lasts up to 70 years, thus almost three-quarters of a century without losing its properties. The material contains microscopically small air pockets that enhance its sound and thermal insulation capabilities. The fiber cement roof panel is quiet in rain and stormy weather. Eternit fiber cement wave panel is fire-resistant and also resistant to chemicals and acids. At the same time, the material is diffusive (breathable) and thus protects the house structures from moisture.
CEDRAL ROOF PANEL GOTIKA INSTALLATION
- Before installing the battens, install an underlay if necessary.
An insulated roof requires an underlay; it is advisable to use a breathable underlay, which eliminates the need for air gaps and wind protection. A special fastening tape makes the roof wind-tight.
- Next, install the battens.
For battening, 50 x 50 mm wooden battens are used. In the case of Eternit Agro L, the distance between the battens is 800 mm.
- The Eternit fiber cement wave panel is installed from right to left and from bottom to top.
The wave panels are fastened with wave panel screws, whose seals are in the same color as the roof panels.
- The outermost wave of the profile on the left end of the roof must be complete.
End battens are fastened before installing the wave panel. If the panel needs to be trimmed on the left, it is cut along the bottom of the profile wave.
- The main beam is fastened to the main battens.
The end battens are fastened sidewise to the main beam.
