Rounded olivine diabase sauna stones resemble naturally round stones from large rapids and complete the surface layer of the stove spectacularly. Using this stone ensures a soft heat in your sauna. Water poured onto the stove easily flows down to the lower layers of stones, allowing the water to cover more surface area and produce more steam with a softer touch.
In stoves with a small stone space, we recommend using rounded sauna stones on top of chunk-faced sauna stones of the same size class, which add more steam surface area lower in the stone space. This way, water does not flow directly through the stone space. This combination allows you to achieve the best result for soft heat and efficient heat production in your stove.
