The sauna stone/decorative stone resembles naturally rounded stones from large rapids, and they complete the surface layer of the stove impressively. Using this stone ensures a soft steam in your sauna. Water poured over the stones drains easily down to the lower layers, allowing it to cover more surface area and produce more steam with a softer touch. In stoves with a small stone area, we recommend using rounded sauna stones on top of blocky stones of the same size to increase the steam-generating area lower in the stone space. This way, water does not drain directly through the stone space. This combination allows for the best result for a soft steam experience and efficient heat production in your stove.
