The steel flue can be easily extended with 0.5 m and 1.0 m extensions. Thanks to an ingenious connection method, the extensions screw together, and the smoke pipes lock into each other due to the grooves in the pipe. This prevents movement caused by temperature variations. The flue can be installed indoors to a height of 3 meters without support, and the corresponding height outdoors is 2 m. The nominal flue gas temperature of the appliance connected to the Harvia steel flue must not exceed 600 °C. The outer diameter of the steel flue is 220 mm and the diameter of the chimney pipe is 115 mm. The protective distance of the steel flue to combustible materials is 100 mm. The Harvia steel flue is CE marked, so the product meets international requirements related to the product and fire and usage safety. The steel flue is soot fire resistant.
