The geothermal distribution pit is designed for connecting collection circuits. The sealing material for NC-Flow valves is EPDM. The material for Plasson fittings is polypropylene. Meltex's geothermal collection pit has been developed in collaboration with customers. The primary advantage of the pit is the implementation of branch pipe connections using fittings instead of electric welding. This significantly speeds up product installation time since pipes can be pressed into place instead of waiting for welding and cooling times.
The entry points for collection pipes (40mm) into the pit are implemented with entry rubbers, which are still sealed during the manufacturing stage. This way, not all circuits need to be put into use immediately, and during installation, it is only necessary to ensure that the shut-off and line control valve connections for unused circuits are tightened.
The line control valves of the distribution pit are equipped with optical flow meters, making the balancing of collection circuits in worksite conditions very easy.
