Ventilation pile for the ventilation of the base floor and crawl space as well as for intake air.
The MX ventilation pile is suitable for many applications. It can be used for example for ventilating the base floor, for air intake, and as part of a radon ventilation system. The color options and design make it possible to carry out ventilation of the base floor without compromising the style of the building facade. The structure of the pile also prevents debris, snow, and small animals from entering the base floor of the building.
The pressure loss of the MX ventilation pile is low, which means better air exchange. The cross-sectional area of the MX ventilation pile is over 150 cm³ throughout, thereby meeting the requirements of building regulations for the minimum size of exhaust air openings. When ventilating the base floor, the shape, location, and structural aspects of the building that affect air flow should be taken into account. The requirements for the total cross-sectional area and placement of base floor ventilation openings can be found in part C2 of the Finnish Building Regulation Collection.
The height of the ventilation pile is 1030 mm, which can be increased with an additional 330 mm extension available as an accessory.
